Dear STEPS Volunteer,

We are very excited to be celebrating our tenth year of STEPS Camp at
Grand Valley State University.  Planning for STEPS 2011 is underway and
we are looking for your help in making this year successful.  STEPS
truly depends on all of its volunteers to make the camp run smoothly.

STEPS will be held in the Kennedy Hall of Engineering on the Grand
Valley State University Grand Rapids campus on June 13th – 16th and
June 20th – 23rd.  If you would like to volunteer, please look at the
opportunities listed below and let me know your availability.  I have
attached volunteer forms to this e-mail. 

Our greatest need for volunteers is always for Tuesday morning
Construction and Thursday Fly Nights.  If you want more information on
any of the activities listed below, please let me know. 

Tuesday, June 14th and June 21st, 7:45 AM – 12:30 PM (Grand Rapids)
Airplane Construction: Wings, Fuselage, Tail Assembly, CAD

Wednesday, June 15th and June 22nd, 7:45 AM – 11:30 AM (Grand
Rapids)
Airplane Construction: Final Assembly and Flight Simulation

Thursday, June 16th and June 23rd, 7:45 AM – 10:30 AM (Grand Rapids)
Engineering Activities: CNC demo and FIRST Robotics

Thursday, June 16th and June 23rd, 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Allendale)
Fly Field preparation (Weather Permitting): Roping off parking, roping
off pits, etc…

Thursday, June 16th and June 23rd, 12:45 PM – 2:00 PM (Allendale)
Geocaching on Allendale campus

Thursday, June 16th and June 23rd, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Allendale)
Fly Night! (Weather Permitting)
-    Will need help in retrieving planes, timing flights, crowd
control and parking
